Might not look that sunny but this felt like the first taste of Spring! A ride to the pub at one of my favourite spots, Back Beach in Teignmouth 🌟 Last week was a deload week, prescribed by @trainsharp and now I’m all fired up for the work ahead sharpening up for @thetraka, @grallochgravel. I’m also recce-ing the @hotchillee.cc Summer Solstice Stone Circle route in a few weeks so that should be fun!

I’m pretty sure I had a pair of the original pedal straps on my fixed gear bike way back in the olden days when they began. It’s pretty awesome that we’ve both grown what we’re doing and are still riding and repping! Looking forward to lots of fun stuff with the Restrap family over the coming year. Been tinkering with the E-Bike this last week and she is nearly ready to ride again. Made a few upgrades including some HTZ i30 E-Bike specific wheels from WTB 😁
Just need to sort an issue with the new rotors I bought - unfortunately these Hope ones are a bit wide for the brake mount on the fork which is a little annoying! Apparently it's a common problem which I wasn't aware of. Might have been nice if the bike shop had mentioned it but hey ho 🤷‍♀️

Fantastic day at @oldhillbikepark with @dangrant_mtb ☀️ We took two bikes each to see the difference when hitting the jumps. I had my @marinbikes Alpine Trail and the Alcatraz so I warmed up riding the forgiving full-susser then hit the same jumps on the jump bike. The switch felt odd at first but once I got over not having the safety net of a big squishy bike, I actually much preferred the light and fast DJ bike. Can’t wait for more trips to this place and some of the other Cornish gems
