It was a pleasure to work with @the_phbalance on this series of images 😃 I'm lucky to live in an area that's the perfect location for this kind of thing - this here is Haytor, the location of the National Hill Climb champs a couple of years back, an event put on by my very own club, Mid Devon CC. I signed up for it (after a little coercion then bailed when I heard my friends were all going mountain biking that day. 15 minutes of agony vs an entire day at the bike park? Which would you choose?

As I mentioned on my YouTube channel I'm trying to pull together a rough plan for 2022. The general idea is for lots of adventures (though that doesn't have to always mean leaving the UK) with bikepacking, gravel riding, wild swimming, packrafting, kayaking, camping motorbikes and stuff like plus maybe some stage races and gravel events. One of my favourite races of the last few years was @glacier360 so I'd certainly be keen on something like that again. I'd love to hear any suggestions you have!⁠⁠

It’s getting towards the time of year where I have a short pause in training before prepping my bikes for winter riding and heading back to the gym. Not been riding much the last few weeks as I’ve been under the weather anyway but I’m looking forward to a proper break and a holiday ☀️
