Been tinkering with the E-Bike this last week and she is nearly ready to ride again. Made a few upgrades including some HTZ i30 E-Bike specific wheels from WTB 😁
Just need to sort an issue with the new rotors I bought - unfortunately these Hope ones are a bit wide for the brake mount on the fork which is a little annoying! Apparently it's a common problem which I wasn't aware of. Might have been nice if the bike shop had mentioned it but hey ho 🤷‍♀️

Fantastic day at @oldhillbikepark with @dangrant_mtb ☀️ We took two bikes each to see the difference when hitting the jumps. I had my @marinbikes Alpine Trail and the Alcatraz so I warmed up riding the forgiving full-susser then hit the same jumps on the jump bike. The switch felt odd at first but once I got over not having the safety net of a big squishy bike, I actually much preferred the light and fast DJ bike. Can’t wait for more trips to this place and some of the other Cornish gems

Happy International Women’s Day! I hope my daughter believes she can be whatever kind of girl she wants to be 🌸 I hope she has the freedom and confidence to grow, change her mind, adapt, experiment; do whatever she pleases without judgement. I know this is not only down to her own strength of will and my role as a parent; society as a whole needs to support women and girls. Then we’ll be unstoppable. 💪 Here’s to all the daughters, mummas, sisters, partners, nannas and aunties. And to those supportive Daddys, boyfriends, brothers, uncles and Grandpas. A better deal for women is a better deal for everyone.

It never crossed my mind NOT to share our struggles to complete the race but it’s gratifying to hear that the story resonated with so many people.
The whole escapade has only made me want to do more of this type of stuff and it’s great to have some experience in the bag.
As it all ended somewhat abruptly, would you be interested in a video detailing my thoughts on what went wrong, what went well and which pieces of equipment worked/didn’t? Just checking as I don’t want to overdo it if you’ve had your fill!
