I’ve Just Signed With Assos

If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you’ll probably have guessed that I don’t half love prancing about in fancy cycle clothing and nice cycle kits. My cycling wardrobe is far better than my regular one, and that’s the way I like it. Truth be told, I prefer country life, with time on the bike, tea and cake by a log fire and tramping about in the hills more than heading off to glamorous parties and swanky restaurants. It’s not to say that I don’t like Topshop or you won’t catch me in a dress…I just like lycra and outdoor gear more than I do heels. For me, cycling presents a fantastic opportunity to get dressed up and feel good and I take longer choosing an outfit and getting ready to go ride than I do in the evening. Mind you, that’s not hard, I only take about 30 seconds to get ready to go out on a date.

So I’m beyond delighted to have been invited to join the Assos team; the brand have long had a reputation for producing some of the finest cycle clothing on earth, which not only looks dead posh but performs superbly.

The Assos gang have a shed load of exciting plans for 2015, which I’m really pleased to be a part of and I’ll be working with them in various capacities to help them realise their objectives. But of course I’m not at liberty to tell you about any of them just yet, so my lips are sealed and I can say but this: big things be happening next year, so watch this space!

Great post and cool to Join THE ASSOS team. Even though I am not a lady, your post sounds so familiar. Do not dair to show you my cycle cloth and shoe closet… Looking forward to see and read more of you in 2015.

      Thank you!

I would love a kind of walk in cycling wardrobe with all my kit arranged according to type of bike, with the right shoes and helmet etc. Much rather that than a closet full of Jimmy Choo shoes or something!
