Cyclist’s Games – The Lucky Cap
I’m the most indecisive person in the whole world and Dave Noakes ain’t much better. So Sunday mornings in our house are a bloody nightmare – at breakfast we discuss endless possibilities for the days adventure chucking more and more ideas into the mix for every kind of bike we own. Far from being exciting, it actually gets quite annoying so we came up with a simple solution – The Lucky Hat.
We try and limit our options to just five, scribble them down on scraps of paper and chuck them in a cycling hat, then pick one out and go for it. Last weekend, our penultimate in lovely Devon ahead of our relocation to Italy, we landed upon the idea a little light ‘cross-touring’ and a visit to some of Dartmoor’s megalithic sites.
