An update (via Charge Bikes)

a little update, originally posted on my Charge Bikes blog

I’ve been so busy finishing Issue 2 of Coven Magazine but I’ve still managed to get in a bit of riding (when it stopped raining).

I headed up to Edinburgh to compete in the Red Bull minidrome where I rode a lovely Charge Ti Plug. It felt a bit weird to hop on a bike I’d never ridden before but it was a great laugh. I wore my sidis to get a bit more power but eventually got knocked out by Ricky Crompton anyway. Not to worry!

Down in Devon I’ve been out on the BMX at Decoy, riding the bowl and digging trails. The trails I haven’t had a chance to ride yet as the weather has been terrible. I hope the jump we were digging has not been washed away!

Yesterday I went out on the fixed gear for a ride around the country side. I’m not that sure about where to go at the moment so the route I planned started off with a bit of cross country. The area is really hilly so I think a road bike might be more suitable but it was fun nontheless!

Last weekend was the X Games in LA and I wrote a full report on the women’s events for Red Bull. Today I’m off to Nass to check out the women’s skateboard contest. Shame there is not women’s bmx event this year!
